Each batch lasts 8 months.
Yes. Teams have to be from 1-5 founders. However, if you don’t have a founding team and would like to get to know possible co-founders, reach out to us and we will try to match you with suitable people.
Yes. The Berlin Startup Stipendium is primarily aimed at supporting individual founders, but it is advantageous to have your entire team involved in the program: To qualify for the program, you must also have a minimum of 50% ownership of the company.
Throughout the runtime of the program you will get diverse support and learning opportunities, through bootcamps, masterclasses, individual coaching and more. You join our vivid slack community and will be involved in BIA Startup Hub activities, connecting you to a bold network of corporates, city stakeholder and investors.
The founders – and their startups must not have received any other startup grant (such as BSS or EXIST). If you have already received an investment, please contact us with more details.
If the company has already been founded, participation is only possible if the company has been incorporated in Berlin and not yet taken up any economic activity. Reach out to us if you have any doubts about this.
